There can be many reasons why this happens and unrelated at all to battleye.
2. Connection is spotty
3. 3rd party programs such as performance monitoring, virus checkers, and more
4. Your net provider throttling
5. Server host has a ping cap enabled(if you’re too far from the server)
6. Version mismatch(which if your friend didnt update but you did and the server hasnt updated either this will showthem able to be in and you not),
7. Mod mismatch (though typically you see a different error but still possible).
8. Your rig having other issues(such as being a low performance rig(cite your cpu gpu and ram to know otherwise).
9. You’re having settings issues in conjunction with point 8(ie settings are higher than your computer can handle).
Typically when its a battle eye issue, you get a specific error message with battleeye stating such(though not always but frequently).
You also said you crashed. Citing the entirety of the error message(which I bet is a UE4 error crash btw from the description of the error in the basic manner that you did though I could be mistaken.

Hi all, to get right to it there has been a common bug where, after playing for 5 minutes you get kicked by battleye.
After being kicked, the error page systematically says BattlEye. Reason ‘client not responding’.
Note that if you deactivate battleye you no longer get kicked but your server can no longer be seen and that’s a pain.
I was under the impression that an update would fix this but apparently that’s not the case or at least not for us.
We play using the epic games version
So far I verified my game files, got the server set to epic games and steam, reinstalled battleye. My friends also have this problem joining the server although they haven’t tried workarounds as i just deactivated battleye in the meantime.

Hello can you join on this server an play 5 min or only join loadin g mods and then you are kicked?
Play 5 mins no mods on the server.

I have no problem connecting to my server. I keep getting kicked after 5minutes due to battleye. Although that post did give me an explanation on how to join a server when it has a password. still helpfull haha
If you have already done a reboot, I would suggest contact Nitrado Support to further investigate.

Right thanks guys I actually just got off the phone with the Nitrado support. The guys name was Sam really helpfull, basically he took me through the process of joining the server without going through singleplayer he explained that if you join through singleplayer it sets off something on battleye and «Vac» but he showed me how to see my server and join through the multiplayer menu then no problem.

Scour your computer for Bandwidth monitoring tools
— Specifically Cucusoft NetGuard (http://www.cucusoft.com/netguard.aspx) or BandGuard
Get rid of that ♥♥♥♥, it cause network problems latency and shinanigans.***
Check any programs that may interfere/monitor/interact with your connection to your network.

Also BattlEye are apparently working on a fix.
*(note) If your router does not support PPPoA/LLC dont worry about it.
**(note) This can and will put your computer completely outside both your computers firewall and your modem/router firewall/protection. You may get virus, run anti-virus scan before going back behind firewalls and once behind firewalls.
There have been a few people contacted via friend request, which is great, strongly reccomended and am happy to help. But i thought i might add another step to isolate whether it is a hardware problem or not involving a router.
It’s a simple ping test to verify your router is recieving/sending packets consistently, then testing your internet connection for the same.
Where
: *router ip address* is your internal router ip address, you should already know this is you’ve tried the above steps.
: 8.8.8.8 is a google server, commonly optionally used by some for DNS.
Both cmd’s will then begin spitting out single lines, observing the «time= » line, we’re looking for a consistency in numbers. If they aren’t consistent, as in massive jumps up into the hundreds, then this would also explain why you have varying ping/stuttering lag in multiplayer games and probably why battlenet is Dc’ing you.

Давеча Atlas прямо посреди игры внезапно «порадовал» сообщением следующего содержания: «Kicked by BattlEye: Client Not Responding». В процессе повторного входа в игру выяснилось, что из всех серверов доступен почему-то только вариант Freeport, то есть в игру зайти как бы можно, но делать там ничего нельзя.
Промониторив слегка профильную ветку форума, автор данного поста также узнал, что, во-первых, с данной проблемой столкнулись многие игроки в Atlas, а во-вторых, что бывают у неё еще и продолжения: то сам по себе закрывается Инвентарь, то после входа в меню навыков, игра совсем вылетает, а кому-то даже приходится персонаж заново создавать…
В общем, имеет место быть крайне неприятная проблема. Но разбираться с нею все-равно как-то надо. Потому далее о том, как…

Сразу отметим, что ни одного официального способа её устранения мы пока не нашли. Да и вряд ли у разрабов была возможность так быстро отреагировать. Но как минимум одну методу из категории сугубо народных таки откопали. И даже применили. И даже успешно. И по факту своим опытом спешим поделиться.
Значит, если Atlas вылетел, потому что сервис BattlEye из игры вас исключил и клиент теперь не отвечает (что, собственно и означает это самое Kicked by BattlEye: Client Not Responding), то пробуем следующее:
Способ несколько мутноватый и, судя по отзываем, срабатывает не у всех и/или не с первого раза, но попробовать стоит. Ну, а если не помогает, то надо ждать патча…

Every 10-12 minutes I get kicked from the community server I play on and majority of the time it says:
Warning(0x000400F0)
«You were kicked off the game. BattlEye (Client not responding)»
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling
Deleting DayZ_BE and BattlEye folder
Downloading onto my SSD
Deleting Razor cortex
restarting the router
verifying cache
Launching the game through both the dayz launcher and DZSA launcher
I have a low ping so its not my internet.
If anyone could help me out it would be appreciated
