Good catch but CO aren’t responsible in this case.
CO provide 15 default maps plus the 5 disaster maps.
New Islands City is not one of those. So this is a player’s saved map, isn’t that right Hugh Neutron?

Happens with newly started games, saved games, and it also happens at random. Sometimes I can’t even get the «Paradox» splash screen, sometimes it doesn’t happen untill I start a new or load a saved game.
I’ve gone so far as to COMPLETELY uninstall Steam and all the games, wich included removing registry entries. Deactivated ALL mods anr ALL subscribed assets. No luck.
Too many maps/assets/mods? It’smost probably a conflict- a mod/asset issue. I get this message regularly. Delete or turn off your most recent additions from workshop and then attempt to load game. If it persists keep removing workshop items and or switch off save games your not playing. It should eventually load.

Hi there! If you play CS:GO FaceIT, uninstall their anticheat!
I’ve noticed assets and props popping up in a big save game that I already unsubribed or I deactivated. One clear bugger is the TGV train without lights.
This means assets and mods I unsubscribed and/or disabled are popping up in game.
It happens to multiple assets. Disabling and unsubscribing does not remove the content from the local map. I believe al local content is in a specific map. It needs a file checker or the custom asset panel is broken.
I tried to have less assets for lower ram usage, that triggered the error. Need more ram, 8gb is not enough
